Welcome to JouRNeY Taekwondo & Karate for Kids, a family owned and operated school, creating tomorrow's leaders one black belt at a time.
We offer Tiny Tiger classes specially designed for the preschool/kindergarten age (3 1/2 to 6 year olds). We understand these little ones are at a very impressionable age, and require a fun but firm hand. We also know that many young children are beset by aggressive media messages. Our classes help you to channel their never-ending energy, and enthusiasm into a disciplined, strength building outlet.
Our basic, black belt club, and leadership classes are for juniors 6 1/2 to 12 years old, and teens and adults 13 to 100. We know that children need good role models, and positive peer pressure for success at this critical age. Our classes offer activities in traditional Songham Taekwondo, self defense, and sparring which translates into confidence building, focus and discipline in school and at work.
Because we are a family of six black belts, you will find a sense of homecoming and family at our school. We are proud to form a triangle with you, the parent, and your child in an effort to develop a well-rounded, physically and mentally strong individual of high character and honor.
